KL Megalanes Bumiputera League 2008

Lagi cite bowling.. ehehe.. anyway, my team from BDN (The BDNers) dah participate in this tourney sejak January lagi.. 7 bulan compete in this league.. it was the 1st time BDN participated dlm liga.. so we didn't expect much lah.. just to gain experience.. so last week, all came to an end on a high note. =)

The league was like this.. 20 teams participated.. so utk 1st round, the 20 teams will compete with each other head-to-head.. after 19 weeks, dapat la ranking 1-20. So the 20 teams were divided into 2 divisions - 1 & 2. BDNers were placed at a14th place so masuk division 2 lah.. so again, the teams in their respective divisions will compete head-to-head (in similar format as in 1st round) for 9 weeks.

In the 8th week of 2nd round, we were at 2nd place.. Points for the top 3 position in division 2 tu semuanya rapat2 so the final match mmng akan menentukan sape akan menang coz all 3 groups stands an equal chance of topping the ranking. Lucky us, the 1st (viper) & 3rd place (my teamber) team met each other while we met this one team which consists of all females, with very high handicaps.. a very tall order to win i tell you.. but in the end, our team won 12.5-3.5 while viper & my teamber draw. Which means we topped the 2nd division!!! yeayy!!!

It was a very sweet victory for our team walaupun menang utk division 2 je coz this was our 1st time participating in such event. Next season, we'll be participating again with 2 teams and i'll be one of the players, insyaAllah.. this season, i just managed the team but hopefully, i can contribute more next season. =) So after the prize giving ceremony, we celebrated by screaming our lungs out at a karaoke.. ehehe..

This was last 2 weeks.. actually, just a day before Asrol & Taznims's wedding (read previous entry).. but i think it's quite worth it to blog coz i won something out of the tournament.. hehe..

So this tournament gathered peeps from the virtual world.. bowlers from various online forums such as bincang.net (BDN), sifoo.com, virtualfriends, viperclub etc etc took part in the event.. as for myself, like as usual la i represented BDN with some other friends from that forum - mukh, nuar, deidaa, emy, wadud, jaabil, deale, susheequeen & others.. format of the game - 9 pin tap over 4 games..

This was my 1st time bowling under this format throughout the entire 4 games.. and i did not do too badly.. i bowled 221, 163, 180 and 156.. bowling with my friend - mukh who once bowled at SUKMA level helps coz he really pushed me to do better.. i even top him in the 1st game.. hehe.. so the results?? Mukh, as expected won top prize for the event.. in the 3rd game, he almost did a perfect game, but missed 2 frames for strikes to settle for 275 pinfalls which earned him the high game prize.. and guess what.. i was invited to hand away the prize to him.. haha..

And out of 80 bowlers who took part, i finished at 18 place.. ok what?? 18 out of 80 bowlers & some of them are graded bowlers mind you!! lucky me, the prizes are up to 25th place, so i got myself a huge hamper.. being a beginner, this is perhaps one of my better achievement in bowling thus far..=)

With the victorious win, Mukh won rm400 and treated us at Sup Ani Utara for lunch.. thanks Mukh!! owh, and that's not all.. after lunch, mukh, deale & myself went for shopping.. i went to look for Asrol's wedding gift, and Mukh got himself a microwave as a gift for his beloved wife.. =) I bet his wife won't hesitate letting him bowl after this.. haha.. So that's about it.. congrates Mukh & thanks for the treat. :-)

Lunch at Sup Ani Utara

Genting Highlands Outing
Date: 09.08.08

This was last Saturday.. gi berfoya2 di Genting Highlands dgn geng2 BDN - myself, deidaa, emy, asrol, myo, don, mayang, ain, drim & dd. Mula2 berjumpa kat Genting Sempah dulu, then konvoi to Gohtong Jaya from there at around 10.. b4 smpai ke tempat dituju, sempat lg si Don menyesatkan kami dgn menghala balik ke KL semula.. terpaksa u-turn balik kat tol near uia gombak tuh.. huhu.

Sampai kat tempat cable car around 10.30.. parked our car, then off we go ke puncak genting.. smpai2 sana, so terus la ke outdoor theme park.. and that was before aku berposing dpn keta lamborghini kat ataih ni.. milik org S'pore.. gi casino agaknya.. masa smpai kat kaunter tuh, ketensenan melanda sbb game Space Shot (Solero Shot) ditutup.. adoyai.. aku naik genting this time pun 70% sbb nak maik mende alah tu coz dah bro kali bila aku naik genting mende alah tu tutup.. and it happened again this time.. dan yg menjadi mangsa, minah kaunter tu kena bebel ngan aku.. hehe..

Masuk2, we head to game Corkscrew the rollercoaster.. gile panjang queue.. beratur jgklah.. tgh beratur tu, ujan turun.. adoyai lagi.. we waited a couple of minutes, but the rain started to pour makin2 lebat plak so kitorg berteduh kat kedai dorayaki.. and the rain won't stop pouring.. so kitorg decide nak masuk indoor arena for lunch.. it was 2 pm & haven't played a single game yet at that time!! I had burger king for lunch, and some others had KFC. Tak sedap plak burger dia aku rasa kat atas nih, dah le double the normal price! huhu.

Habis lunch, we went in and terus naik kete antique kat atas nih.. hujan dah reda time nih.. after that, kitorg naik roller coaster mini plak yg ada tembus2 gua.. it combines both the indoor & outdoor area.. best gak game nih.. tak la thrill sgt, tp best aaa.. pastu naik rollercoaster.. yeayy!! The results, let the below pic explains.. ehehe.. mmng best gile. =)

Abis naik rollercoaster corkscrew, naik keretapi hantu plak.. tak best langsung!! bkn stakat tak best, tak menakutkan lgsng pun.. i noticed that hantu dah kurang.. elemen2 terkejut pun xde.. the last time aku naik mende alah ni, ada gak hantu2 yg boleh membuatkan aku terkejut.. this time langsung xde.. maintenance x jaga la diorg nih.. huhu.. in between games, posing dulu spt di bwh. :D

Next - dinosaur land.. lama gak beratur nak naik boat tuh.. tp beratur gak le.. bayor mahal2, baik naik semua.. unlike some kwn2 aku tuh, itu takut nak naik, ini tak nak naik.. baik x yah dtg kalu gitu.. haha..

Masa naik boat tuh, we were brought into a cave.. ghope2nya ada wayang.. patut pun lama tnggu boat tuh.. ada wayang rupanya.. ada la cite2 pasal dinosaur complete ngan replika2 dinosaur yg bergerak2.. quite entertaining & informative..

Selepas itu, kitorg pun mengembara di dinosaurland smbil berposing sakan. =)

Next game, buai laju2 as in pic below.. game ni dari dulu mmng best aa.. sejak aku kecik lagi aku suka main mende ni.. sejibik cam kat masa aku US dulu.. asrol buli aku taim nih.. ada ke patut dihuyung hayangkan aku masa nak start tuh.. dah le aku blom menguncikan diri aku taim tu.. tp takpe, ada udi ada batas, in the next game aku balas.. ehehe.. aku, emy, deidaa & asrol naik tea cup plak.. nmpk cam x thrill kan.. but i made it more than thrill.. haha.. selaju2nya aku pusing tea cup tu secara manual.. abis semuanya pening2 lalat after turun dr cawan tu.. haha.. ape la korg nih, tu pun pening.. tak macho langsung! :p

Next - bumper boat.. game ni pun lama gak queue.. almost 40 minutes.. but worth the wait la.. aku, emy & deidaa je yg main mende alah ni.. asrol dah terbongkang akibat kepeningan naik tea cup.. ehehe.. masa tnggu nk main nih, tergelak2 aku tgk sorg dak pompuan tuh x reti nk navigate bumper boat ni.. dia dok berpusing2 je smpai la dibwk arus ke hujung sana.. bila abis game, terpaksa rescuer gi ambik.. ehehe..

Dah abih main bumper boat nih, gi tgk mayang & ain tgh naik pirate ship.. ala, yg boat besar go back & forth tuh.. game ni x takut langsung bg aku, tapi geli2 muntut la naik bende ni.. ehehe.. aku dok blkng skali to enjoy the game at maximum level while deidaa & emy dok kat tgh2.. kat situ muntut x geli sgt aaa.. apa barang.. :p And that was the last game i played.. lepas tuh kitorg turun via kete kabel, then head back to KL.. drim ajak makan kat Restoran Cheng Ho milik Amy Search.. sesampai sana, penuh la plak but we decided to wait coz tak penah lagi makan kat sini.. nak gak try kan alang2 dah sampai tu..

Setelah menunggu bbrp lama, finally we got in.. and aku memvolunteerkan diri pilih the dishes.. These were what i ordered.. sweet sour chicken, beef with mongolian sauce, buttered prawn, fried squids, red tom yam, ikan kerapu masak ape ntah aku x ingat and also kailan ikan masin.. all worth rm24.90 per pax. Not bad kan?

Did we enjoyed our meal?? You bet we did! Just look at this pic below. =)

All are recommended to the restaurant. :) So that was the end of my day. Sampai rumah around 12 terus collapse. Gile penat. Esoknya kena bgn awal pagi plak for a diddyfc bowling tournament plak. huhu. Will blog bout that later. Adios amigos. :D

Not a bad figure kan?? ehehehe. I started blogging with zero knowledge on it. I wrote becoz i love writing. And with this blog, i've known lots of people in showbiz and also fans in the entertainment scene. I've also made some very wonderful friends. So I owe it big time to this blog. =)

02.08.08, Kuantan, Pahang

Tahniah utk kwn aku - Dass yg dah selamat melangsungkan perkahwinannya dgn Zylene last Saturday (02.03) di Kuantan which is majlis sebelah pihak lelaki.. aku kenal Dass ni x le lama sgt.. but we clicked instantly becoz of our passion for bowling.. selama aku main boling, ramai yg menjadik guru aku, tp kalau nk kata sifoo, Dass ni lah orgnya.. since style bowling dia sama ngan aku - main spinner, dia bnyk coach aku.. so thanks for all your tips & encouragement bro.. pasni dah start bljr main hook, jgn lupa utk terus turunkan ilmu spinner ko yg belum abis aku kutip tuh ye.. =)

Nway, aku gi Kuantan ngan Deida.. smpai sana, jmpa Emy & her mum.. so masa kitorg tgh makan, pengantin pun sampai dgn sepersalinan serba hitam.. jarang2 pengantin pakai itam, tp cun gak.. lain dr yg lain.. then dah abis mkn, kitorg masuk rumah nk ambik gmbr.. borak2 sedikit sebanyak, then kitorg pun gerak..

So our next stop was rumah officemate aku - Syiikah kat Pekan. Mula2 ingatkan nk balik KL terus nk gi GSA kt Klang and gi wedding sblh lelaki je, but alang2 dah ada kat Pahang tu, terus je lah ke Pekan.. kata org Kuantan, dlm 40 minit je.. but it turns out 1 jam lebih jgk le ke sana campur sesat barai lagi.. peta plak agak confusing.. mmng mencabar keimanan btol.. dan banyak plak kejadian2 kesengalan yg berlaku. Sila ke blog Deida untuk baca kisah2 sengal spnjng perjalanan kitorg termasuk kutukan2 dia kpd aku. :p

Again, slmt pengantin baru Dassler + Zylene & Syiikah + Adli. Semoga berbahagia & kekal ke anak cucu dan cepat2la timang baby kay. =)
